cannot download firefox. it gets deleted automatically every time it is downloaded.

Web browsers like IE, Chrome, and Firefox don't scan for viruses and delete downloads, that is a function of an anti-virus application.

That may be a false positive of you AV software if you download Firefox from the Mozilla server.

You can find the latest Firefox 20.0.x release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is otherwise interfering with downloading files.

Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

thanks guys...but i've already tries disabling the antivirus..the same result crops up...
