When X-Marks comes on adn disappears leaving a strip with "Logon to X-Marks", Fiefox no longer responds?

I cannot use Firefox or shut it after I start it and the strip "Logon to X-Marks" appears. I must use the Task Manager to stop it. Then, I can use the computer again.

Have you tried to disable Xmarks?

I cannot diable X-Marks because as soon as it appears to goes to the strip. After that FIREFOS is frozen.

Disable it while in the Firefox SafeMode.

Hold the Shft key when you go to open Firefox, then just use Continue in Safe Mode at the bottom of the SafeMode dialog window - don't select anything else.
