how do I go back more than one screen? There used to be a drop-down of recent screens within a tab. Thank you.
The navigation toolbar contains arrow icons to go forward or back one screen within a tab, but previous versions of Firefox also provided a drop-down list of recent webpages allowing the user to go back more than one screen with a single click. Is this function still available?

Functionality was not removed, See item #5 Back/Forward toolbar button without drop-down -- use right-click (or hold left-click for a second) for dropdown
in the following:
- You can make Firefox Firefox 5.0 look like Firefox 3.6.19, see numbered items 1-10 in the following topic Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 5.0, or 4.0.1, look like 3.6). Whether or not you make changes, you should be aware of what has changed and what you have to do to use changed or missing features.

The arrow to open the tab history of the Back and Forward buttons has been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
Use one of these methods to open the tab history list:
- Right click on the Back or Forward button
- Hold down the left mouse button on the enabled Back or Forward button until the list opens
You can look at this extension:
