yes: what is firefox sync

other than that, I'm not sure what you can do; you may wish to use Firefox portable: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

After lots of experimenting, turns out that the FireFox Xmarks sync's everything, including the desktop. Works quite well too.
