Password Manager After The Last Update Doesn't Work
I've been using Thunderbird on our pc for decades, but it I believe the last software update has corrupted the "Password Manager". Since then, almost every time I attempt to log in, I receive the message about my password is incorrect, even though I have changed and checked the box that states something like "use Password Manager" for it. This is naturally "driving me crazy". Is there going to be a fix or is it just my problem? Thank you!

Does Thunderbird even use a password for your email? It does not any longer for many of the major players who require oauth authentication and manually forcing use of a password will not work
So lets back up to the basics.
- What mail provider?
- What are your current mail server settings for the account?
- What anti virus do you use? Do you still have issues with it uninstalled?
Thanks Matt; our mail provider is Comcast. Server settings are: IMAP mail server, imap.comcast.net; Windows Defender.
