I have had Firefox for many years. Now, instead of simple updates, I get daily reminders to update Firefox. They may be reliable, but why do I get them at all?

The Firefox 152.0.1 and 152.0.2 updates were for stability fixes. The minor updates are for stability and or security fixes that could not wait for next major version release.
