Lost saved passwords, etc. upon "updating" in the prompt I was getting every time I opened Firefox, my default browser.
Every time I open my PC I get message - Firefox update available. Ignored it for awhile, the foolishly clicked "update." Got a new "profile" and lost all of my saved and autofill passwords but four. Makes logging in to frequently used sites almost impossible, extremely inconvenient. I do not want a new "profile." Need to recover-go back to the version I had before "updating."

Hi, you should be able to get to your old profile. Please see Recover user data missing after Firefox update or reinstall.
