Recently, if I am playing audio from Firefox on my phone, the audio stops when my phone screen is locked. This did not used to happen and does not happen if I play the same audio from Safari. I am using an iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.1. I have tried resetting the phone and removing and reinstalling Firefox, but it persists. The problem does not occur with audio played from the same webpage through Firefox using my iPad, logged into the same Firefox account.

This may help you, I am using an iPhone 13 on iOS 18.6. It may just be a bug on iOS 26. Did you try the same audio in Safari? How is the audio being played? If you could add an image and I may be able to help further.

@cboss09 - Yes, as noted in the original post, did try with the same audio in Safari and the issue does not happen. Audio is being played in Firefox through the phone and the issue happens whether it's coming out the phone speaker or a bluetooth-connected device. Happy to post a picture, but not sure what you're thinking would be in the picture.

So depending, how Firefox sees the audio on iOS maybe different than how it sees it on iPad OS and in Safari. The screenshot would be helpful to see how Firefox sees the audio in your case on iOS. I hope this helps.
