You are posting in the Thunderbird support forum and David is talking about that product, but you are talking about Firefox. So are you at crossed purposes because the question in in the wrong forum?

Are you referring to a distribution list? there is an icon for that to the right of the 'NEW CONTACT' button on addressbook pane.
