The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.gmail.com failed.
I have read the support pages here and followed the advice.
My settings are: smtp.gmail.com Port 465 SSL/TLS OAuth2 User: email work domain address (workplace) name@work.com
I have TB setting set to accept all cookies. I have double checked the saved password / token. It is correct. Have logged out and logged in. I have logged into google workplace and made sure imap and pop is allowed for all users in admin. It is allowed for all users in Gmail.com as well. I have turned off firewall and antivirus
I am able to receive emails in TB but not send. I can send and receive emails using the same computer using Gmail in browser. I cannot sent emails in TB. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.gmail.com failed.
What else can I do?

Yes I looked at both in details. No solutions suggested in other spots worked.
HOWEVER, after spending much time on the problem I came to find that my DKIM was not verified for the domain which somehow stopped TB from sending emails but not receiving them and also did not stop Gmail browser from sending and receiving. For domain emails, someone should add this to their help. I've been looking for an answer to this problem for months, just resolved myself.
