I know from online searches and from past experience that this is done through the Options screen but I can't figure out how to get to the Options screen in Firefox. I'm not a new Firefox user, I've been using it for years but it has also been years since I've had to change my Firefox options. I just got a new PC (my last one was purchased in 2009) and now I need to make those changes again.

When something as important as setting personal preferences is not intuitive to users then perhaps it's time to consider a development enhancement that makes it easier for users to access these features.

Thank you so much. I would never have imagined what that icon was supposed to represent. Is it a new icon? I was using Windows XP professional on my old system (loved that OS!) and didn't update Firefox after MS stopped supporting XP in fear I'd end up with a conflict that might damage my XP OS. I was hoping to last another year at least on it. I had so much software loaded on it I didn't want to lose. Many were versions that would not run on Windows 8 and I can't afford upgrades and for some I lost the original install discs. The inevitable happened. Thank you again for making the transition a bit less painful.
