I have not been able to highlight and copy ~ even prior to the most recent update.

Even using control/ does not work.

Really hating this.

Hello, I've followed Firefox's invitation to install and update the browser on my Mac. Unfortunately the new version is not compatible with OS 10 El Capitan, my operating system, so now I can't use Firefox at all. How I do get the old version back?

I recently updated Mozilla browser for Mac today (version 99.0.1, 64-Bit on April 13, 2022). And now I can not switch between my Gmail accounts that I am signed into (from the top right icon, switch accounts) all it does is load and bring me back to the default account I have set up. It is a bit frustrating since I have to manually log back in everytime and it was so seamless before.

Any help is appreciated.

I've been using Firefox for iOS for several years and know how to use it at a basic level.

Just in the last couple of weeks, it doesn't want to open any buttons. That means if I want to write an email and add an attachment, or I want to post a listing on my Etsy shop and click on 'Add Photos', I click, and nothing happens. Just below this box, in fact, is 'Add images (optional):' and then a button that says 'Browse...'. Nothing happens when I click this button. There's no notification saying pop ups are blocked, just nothing happens.

So I find myself having to close down Firefox and go to Chrome or Safari, over and over again – it's so annoying, because all my passwords are saved on Firefox, so I'm just flicking between them all the time!

Any reasons you can think of? It seems to be up to date? Version is 119.0.1 (64-bit). Thanks!

Error code 242632 "The video cannot be played on this browser"

I find myself going around in a circle. On my Windows machine, about:logins gives me an option to export data. But on my Macintosh, there is no such option (Firefox ver. 78.15.0esr [64-bit]). This is a very old MacBook Air but Firefox tells me that it (Firefox) is up-to-date.

On this page: Home > Support Forums > Firefox for iOS > exporting printing log in and passwords (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1368085#question-reply, I am referred to "Export login data from Firefox" (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-login-data-firefox). But this write-up tells me there is the same export option that doesn't exist.

How do I export this data unencrypted? Any file format would be fine.

Since I upgraded my Mac Air to Firefox crashes on every site needing password since Mac upgrade to Ventura 13.3.1 entura 13.3.1 Firefox crashes every time on any site needing a password. I have got latest Firefox. I have uninstalled and re-installed. No change. Any ideas please?!

I wonder if there is a way to restore deleted cookies and site data. I've tried to look search for a solution but can't seem to find. So asking here if it's possible to restore that somehow? (also, I'm on a mac) Thanks

I don't think "Tabs" is the right topic, but maybe it's the best of the choices since "Other" isn't an option.

I have an email with a link to a monthly newsletter, which should take me to February's issue. When I click on, or copy/paste, the link, I end up with the January issue. When I copy/paste in Chrome and Safari, I get the February issue. The newsletter people suggested clearing my cache/cookies in Firefox, but that didn't help. No matter how I try to navigate to the newsletter in Firefox, I get to January. I have tried everything I can think of, and still get the January issue in Firefox, while that same link gets me the February issue in Safari and Chrome.

I'm using Firefox 122.0.1, on a MacBook Pro (Sonoma 14.2.1).

I'd appreciate any ideas you might have!

Hi,

I cannot paste text (such as texts from Word-docs or links) while using the WhatsApp web application in Firefox. My ad-blocker for Firefox has been turned off, and all settings under the lock-logo are set on default. When I clear cookies and site date, it works for a while, but then stops working. It's quite annoying, since I use WhatsApp a lot, also for work related purposed, sharing links etc all the time.

Any idea what the problem is and how I could solve it?

Hi all, I'm having an issue that I've seen mentioned over several years and without a workable solution - I'm at the point of having to transfer all my browser usage to chrome and abandon my beloved firefox. The issue has been 'answered' by advanced users to tell people to 'inspect' which font is the issue then check local systems font book for corrupted/duplicate fonts: however this is not a satisfactory response. Context: see screen shot attached for what the jibberish looks like, and a point in the 'inspect' view that I believe (guessing) is involved. System: Firefox 112.0.2 (64-bit), MacOS 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) on Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2020, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5). This same websites do not have any issue on the same computer viewed on Chrome or Safari. Nor is there any problem on my iPhone on the iOS firefox browser.

Firstly this is not a user-friendly solution for most people, I'm afraid. Opening the inspect viewer is mindboggling for anyone who doesn't code and even for people who do some programming but not for websites (like me), it isn't exactly self-explanatory. I think I've managing to find examples that indicate 'Roboto' seems to be consistently involved in the display issue. Secondly, the step for 'fixing' the font that is the culprit - my local system indicates that all fonts are valid and there are no duplicates. I haven't installed manually Roboto as I'm uncertain where to 'safely' get the font from and my computer is owned and managed by my workplace - with overly strict administration/security rules so if I f-up a download of something dodgy my IT service will blacklist me and revoke my admin access... ** which would mean I'd be unable to do my job!**. I wondered if perhaps there is some security setting due to that, which stops website from loading the fonts they choose? From previous 'solutions' it said that having Firefox preference set to "allow websites to choose their own fonts..." should mean the websites can load as needed. If indeed I must manually download fonts for each and every instance that Firefox fails to display text legibly that is equivalent to Firefox being unusable. I'm clearly frustrated and it's because I love FIrefox and the ethos behind it all so leaving for Chrome would be very sad indeed! Help and a solution for normal users would be so very much appreciated. Also where can I properly lodge this issue with peeps who fix things? There are issues of this kind going back years and for both Windows and Mac Systems so it's not a one-off problem but a recurring one! Currently running on Firefox version 123.0.1 and IOS 12.7.3.

I recently replaced the battery in my macbook pro which required a refresh of Firefox.

Now when printing from the browser the labels all print 3x5.

All of my settings are correct and when I save my labels as a pdf they print just fine.

Before the battery swap labels printed from the browser just fine. Labels show reduced formatting in print preview.

Need some help here please.

I have been using Firefox for many years and I know how to use it well. However, I am currently experiencing an issue with the text and fonts on various websites, including Facebook. Even after refreshing and attempting to troubleshoot, the issue persists.

I have noticed that the font and text work normally in Firefox's troubleshooting off mode. I have even attached a photo of the issue for reference.

Please advise.

Purchased new iMac w/ Sonoma v 14.2. Contents of old computer were transferred to new one at the Apple Store but I cannot find my bookmarks now. Any advice is appreciated
