This site, Costco Instacart, worked perfectly with Firefox as recently as April 15, 2023 but today fails (see attached image): https://sameday.costco.com/store/costco/storefront?zipcode=11021

Cloudflare believes it is protecting itself from online attacks when accessed by Firefox. The same site worked perfectly today, on the same computer, using Google Chrome.

Cloudflare is a major CDN and many important commercial sites, like Costco Instacart, have their content delivered by Cloudflare so this is a major issue with Firefox. For the moment there is a work-around, use Chrome instead, but it would be better to have Firefox address issues with Cloudflare.

I'm trying to install Firefox on a Chromebook. I've done this successfully before. Using the instructions in the Mozilla page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/run-firefox-chromeos?utm_source=www.mozilla.org-firefox-browsers-chromebook&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=seo#w_installing-the-firefox-desktop-browser-with-flatpak

But the command in the terminal window sudo bash -c "$(curl -fsS https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mozilla/sumo-kb/main/run-firefox-chromeos/install-flatpak.sh)"

Is giving me the error message curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404

Any advice would be appreciated! This is a fresh ChromeOS environment since I just did a factory reset so everything should be clean, and with latest OS version.

I seem to having multiple problems with Firefox over the last few weeks...

This problem is - I can't unblock popups. I have got popup blocking enabled, with a couple of Exceptions - it's been working fine until I wanted to use it today. I have tried turning off popup blocking, re-entering the exceptions - nothing is helping!!!

Does anyone know what to do?

Let's start by saying that I love Firefox, that I use it as my primary browser everywhere and I love that is not based on chromium. However, for reasons to me unknown is missing a very important feature (natively at least): tab grouping. This feature is extremely simple to implement and in today life, where in most jobs (I'm a researcher) you have to deal with a tons of tabs opened in your browser, being able to effectively organize them is a must.

My question is: has Firefox the intention to implement (again) this feature? Will this happen soon?

I'm really trying my best to not switch to a competitor browser and I really want to support Firefox and hope that it gains more and more users. But for this to happen it really needs to be on par with time. How come every other popular browser has a very good tab grouping feature and Firefox doesn't?

Please, let me know if there's a chance to see this feature implemented in reasonable times. Sooner or later, you will probably have to do that reagardless.

There is an answer about holding `Alt`, but that is a workaround.

Everything under Logins and Passwords, and Forms and Autofill is unchecked. A "Primary Password" has never been set in firefox.

Can't get it to stop asking, which is made worse by the fact that nothing is selected to prompt it nor is anything stored for it to use.

Ubuntu crashes while moving around a Firefox tab with a mouse, IF the mouse cursor goes thru the top bar of the laptop screen. I am using Firefox V 113.0.2, Build ID: 20230522193126 on Ubuntu 23.04. This could be an Ubuntu problem or a Firefox problem.

Am I the only one plagued with an issue about the option "View" > "Toolbars" > "Bookmarks Toolbar" > "Only Show on new Tab" ?

It finally used to work until version 88

(prior to that I had to use custom css tricks)

With 89, it does not work anymore

When you click on the address bar a drop down menu appears which allows you to immediately select a site that you visit frequently. How do I remove an item from this menu?

Hi! I have the strictest anti-tracking protection enabled and have one question: Firefox prevents cross-site cookies by default, but if I install Firefox Containers, does that mean that those cross-site cookies will be allowed inside that container, even if they're not when browsing outside of any container? My concern is that, if that happened, using Firefox containers would actually diminish privacy instead of increasing it (for example, Facebook would be able to use Instagram cookies because they're in the same container, even though it wouldn't if I hadn't installed Containers). I use firefox since I go to college. When I got some problems, I try to check firefox use what to pick folder? I use Manjaro Plasma. I find chrominum use kdialog. But firefox looks not though both use gtk3 as UI

So this issue just started and it's really annoying.

In order to actually see the downloads, I first have to enable the menu bar and then go Tools -> Downloads

Clicking the ↓ button should open a panel of recent downloads but nothing appears when I click on it. Furthermore, the "download complete" notification that this panel provides are no longer present.

The animation for the panel still works though.

Is there a solution to this?

I often use two firefox windows each with several tabs opened

Problem is when I quit in this state sometimes only one of those multiple windows gets opened on the next launch

To quit I do a `ctrl + q` or right click `Quit` from launcher bar

Is there a setting to tell firefox to always relaunch with the same set of windows ?

I use sync and this happens when using the same computer for the exit then relaunch of firefox

It works on librewolf and brave, and im running on fedora 37 (using the flatpak package) i have tried every fix including but not limited to: reinstalling, troubleshoot mode, making a new profile and clearing cache. also the openh264 plugin always says preparing to install or smth but never does, thought id mention it in case its important.

I have different login forms on different sub domains so I always get a huge lists of different logins. and also I get my password for the basic auth from the web-server on my login form.

I also consider this as a security risk when different sub domains belong to different parties and I accidentally put my password into the wrong form.

Can I config Firefox the way that I get only passwords in the list that match the exact url or at least the (sub)domain?

Another Question As a Web-developer can I do something that my client don't experience such a mess (like giving the login form a special id so passwords are restricted do this particular form.
