In firefox developer edition, when opening a new window of any kind, or when relaunching/opening the app, the new tab button always ends up on the left hand side. Going to the customization menu, I can move the button to the right side (next to the last tab), which is where I prefer it, however when opening any new window the button goes back to the left side

I have turned off all extensions, allowed all permissions on the page, changed the Privacy to Standard, turned off enhanced protection, but I still cannot get the popup to show on this page (need login to see actual page)

I cannot find anything else which can be blocking it, but something is.

If I load the page in Edge, it works fine.

I'm getting "Too Many Requests" error message this morning when I try to login to MS Outlook. My OS is Windows and I run Proton VPN.

NOTE: I do not GET this error when I use the DuckDuckGo browser to login to Outlook.

After opening Firefox and then minimizing/closing it, there is a corner of an advertising page remaining visible on lower right of home screen. Normally an ad for something like Norton or similar. Can be eliminated by right click on title bar. How do I keep it from appearing.

I had an email [edited] @drowlin.tech which I no longer use. It was connected to a firefox account, which is now redundant. The email I now use is [edited] @gmail.com. I have tried to get the account closed, but security checks have prevented me from doing so. The same for the email [edited] @yahoo.co.uk, the firefox account it is connected to, is also redundant.

     Any help to close these accounts would be much appreciated.

Another problem I have is I had two aliases [edited] @relay.firefox.com and [edited] @relay.firefox.com used in an early version of Monitor both of which I want to discontinue. I have the same issue as this guy https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1402931#question-reply Exceptions. I have a new Dell pc and my Mozilla browser is 118. I have had this issue from the time that I purchased the new pc and attached it to my old Dell monitor. I've had Dell and Geek Squad involved both before and after I found this guy's fix in the Mozilla faq's. Before finding that I have had the new pc checked, the old and new monitor checked. All turned out fine system wise. So first suggestion from Dell - new cord - HDMI to VGA - didn't help. New monitor. Didn't help. Finally after much purchasing of technology and no changes a Dell tech was on using Edge browser. I realized that the monitor was perfect and told them so. So they tried Chrome and still the monitor text was fine. Firefox - back to blotchy. That's when I did the search in Mozilla faq's and found this other issue and "fix". I talked a Geek Squad tech into changing my display setting to "Extend Display" in Windows. Text totally disappeared from the monitor. So I've run out of options other than to set up everything under Chrome or Edge which I really don't want to do. But I may have to. In the meantime I've proved that I didn't need a new monitor or a new cord.

Whenever I try to sign into any Google site whether it is Gmail, Google, Youtube. or even signing into a site with a google account like Pinterest I get sent to the google help page taking about clearing cache & cookies. Even from there when i click sign in it just refreshes the page never actually taking me to the sign in page.

All shortcuts I had for months below the search bar are gone from the home page of ff. Nothing suggested in the past I try ever fixed it. They just showed back up one day long ago. Until today I refreshed FF did not work. When I tried to browse it will not let me access the desktop to attach a photo this is only when using FF.Thankyou

my extensions got unpinned and the new tab button is gone, the tab overview is gone, the extension button is to the left of the address bar, the back and forward buttons are to the left of the address bar, the back and forward button are swapped, WHY.

In the screenshot i pinned the 3 extesions i use again, they were unpinned before

I recently purchased a Sandisk Ultra Flair flash drive because I wanted to password protect some files. The flash drive requires me to download the Private Access software from the Western Digital web site. When I try to do this the Mozilla browser states "Malicious Download Detected" and cancels the download. Does anyone have any suggestions? I went to the Privacy and Security part of Settings, and unchecked the Deceptive Content setting, but Firefox still would not let me download the software. Perhaps the change to the setting I tried did not register in Settings, but here I am asking for your help. Thanks.

I have cleared the cache, cookies and history. I can use Google Chrome just fine, but do not want to. They only way that I can get to any website is via Troubleshooting Mode. This is getting quite frustrating. I see that others are having the same problem. I use the Standard for browsing. This has been going on for a couple weeks. At first, I tried to get it to work by changing to No Proxy, it was working. Then it did not. I have read through what others are going through and they seem to have the same problem. There has to be some way to fix this. I even ran a complete virus scan that takes up to 10 minutes, and it did not find an issue, so I think this is a major bug on the Moz://a side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You guys are the best!! Thank you.

I don't know if you can help, Miscrosoft is useless so have given up on them. For some days now I've been getting a grey box with red printing appearing repeatedly on my screen, right in the centre. Try as I might I cannot get it to stop. It could have something to do with videos as today it started appearing after I looked at a video on Twitter. I have included a photo of the box Weirdly, I can't take a screen shot of it - it comes up blank and also, the cursor disappears behind the box and is invisible.

If you can't help could you point me to where I might get help please?

I can't find sometimes very important replies to my emails because they are filed not in the chronological order in which they arrive in my computer but are connected in the group of the original Subject. How can I change that? Thank you. Email removed PS. I use Win11

After a windows update I get the following message when I try to open Firefox: The procedure entry point ?ToLogLevel@mozilla@@VA?AW4LogLevel@1@H@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C:ProgramFiles\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll Then I get Couldn't load XPCOM

I tried uninstalling firefox but it just hung. I restored it to before the windows update but still got the same message

When I receive an email that has a link, Firefox opens without any of my settings. This also happens with Firefox pop-ups, which indicate I don't have certain products, such as Web Advisor, even though I do.

I guess the first question is why a new iteration of Firefox is opened when I already have it running.

Every time I use YouTube on Firefox it feels like a mental torture. It starts off with micro-stutters initially - annoying but nothing crazy. After some time the loading speed of the website and the videos themselves increase dramatically. And eventually it becomes unusable:

• Scrolling feels like the website is running at 30 fps
• The videos take several seconds to load
• It also takes multiple seconds to catch up when you select a specific moment of the video

The only solution so far has been restarting Firefox entirely, just close and open and pray. Then the problem comes back after some time.

Solutions I Tried:

• Disabling AdBlock (didn't work)
• Enabling Hardware Acceleration at all time (didn't work)
• Uninstalling unwanted Extenstions (didn't work)

All of these problems disappear when using Chrome or Edge.

The web site for Pacific Gas and Electric (pge.com) rejects Firefox and lists other browsers that it will accept. Does anyone at Mozilla care about such rejections?

Since 128.0 was installed outlook.office.com/mail has stopped working. (Windows 11)

My mail account has numerous shared groups. However these now fail to load with a messgae "Cannot load folders for "xxxxxxxxx" Decoding failed.

Additionally, while I can see new mails in the list (under focused and Other), the previews are all blank.

I do not get this error in Edge or Chrome in Windows.
