Am trying to remove the funmoods bar from my pc. Unfortunately, I can't get any help bars to open when clicking on the FF icon in the upper corner. All I get is 'move; maximize;minimize and close'. This doesn't take me anywhere. What can I do to access means to restore FF?

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Gotta tell you, this is all just too complicated for me to even dare to try. I'm no techie by any means! I wouldn't even trust the link to funmoods since they're the initial troublemakers. No idea how I got this thing, but I really want to have it gone! Just scared I'll screw up my computer worse by fooling around with it.

You can try to create a new profile or reset Firefox.

If you reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some of your data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported and your current profile will be moved to the desktop (Old Firefox Data). You will lose extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you've made.

It is possible to recover more data from the old profile, but be cautious to avoid carrying over the problem.
