I go to the websites of programs I have using for quite awhile ( even when I am on Explorer), and still when I go to them there is a bar at the top of the screen that shows:- "Firefox has blocked this site & click here to allow web site to show" (basically). I don't know if this is part of Firefox, but how does one either stop or change this option?

Such a bar is not standard in Firefox, so it is likely added by an extension or security software.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
