Nightly Suddenly & Unexpected Starting with Windows

Out of nowhere, the Nightly browser starts with Windows & a new profile. This forces me to go to Settings to uncheck the setting for Nightly to start when I start Windows. First, the setting "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up" should never, ever be checked by default. Second, this has happened on both my Win11 computers with Nightly. What is concerning is that somehow a Nightly update out of the blue created a brand new profile--I have a specific profile I use for my Nightly installs--with the start with Windows startup setting checked. This should not happen even with an alpha app like Nightly. The update process should only be using the profile running when the update process takes place. This forces me to run the Firefox Profile Manager to delete the profile that was created out of the blue. Honestly, if this is not addressed, I will have to stop using Firefox, Beta & Nightly. I have Firefox since it first was pre-version 1.0, but I refuse to use an app that thinks it is acceptable to make default a setting like Start with Windows startup.
