New tab focuses search bar, shortcuts greyed out

Hello, I just recently installed the Firefox Mobile stable version, after using the beta version for a long time. one thing that annoys me a bit is that when opening a new tab (plus sign) or going into the search bar directly, the focus is on the search bar and the shortcut area is greyed out. When I want to select a shortcut, I have to press twice, once in the general area, then on the shortcut itself. In the beta, the area was not greyed out and the shortcuts were only one click away, instead of two.

Is this the expected behavior in the stable version? And is there a way to change it?

Best regards

This feature is available in the stable version, as well as in the beta, it doesn't matter. Try going to Secret settings and turn off Enable Homepage Search Bar option.

Thanks, that did it.
