Hi John, I'm sorry for your loss. Were you using Sync on the old computer? If so, when you sign in to the same account, you normally would get your bookmarks downloading to the new installation of Firefox (as long as you did not reset your password). Otherwise, do you still have access to the hard drive or SSD from the old computer, for example, via a USB drive caddy? Firefox data is stored in a hidden folder, but there's probably a magic trick to find it or unhide it in Finder.
