Hi, After a bad windows update my pc crashed and I had to restore my windows 10, I found all my bookmarks in the Windows.old and tried to do the same with the login files and it failed. I didn't have a synch accout yet so I can't restore from there, just my old logins.json and its backup. Tried to just replace the files from the old to the new but didn't work. Thanks for your future help! Paul

So when you restored Windows did that restore have the current login/passwords? If it doesn't then there nothing that can be found as that restore could've been created before the last login/passwords were saved. Also Windows.old is a file for Windows upgrade if that doesn't contain those most current login/passwords then you will also not find them either. How were you able to open a windows.old file?
