Install Thunderbird
I am trying to install Thunderbird with my email server being Canadian (i.e. Shaw email) and an error message continues to pop up with no apparent solution. The error message is "incoming server already exists" Below is Shaw's solution which doesn't work.
Account type: "IMAP Username: Shaw email without @shaw.ca Password: My Email address; bgbraun@shaw.ca Incoming server: imap.shaw.ca Incoming server security Type: SSL (SSL/TLS option in Thunderbird) Incoming server port: 993
SMTP server settings Description: anything I want Server name: mail@shaw.ca Port: 25 Default: 587 Do you suggest changes?

have you opened the account settings tab. It sounds like you already have a Shaw account with the same name.
