remove old response email from Firefox settings
When I click on a link within a website to send an email I am taken to an old email that no longer exist, I am thinking it is a settings issue but cant find it

Did you clear the cache and history so this email isn't listed anymore

You can set Firefox back to "Always ask" what email program or site to use, but actually, only a few methods are supported out of the box, so your next question might be how to add a specific site. Either way, please start with the steps in the following article:
