When Firefox is my chosen browser, I often follow a link in an email to a usual site, but get a message saying 'Network Protocol Error'. I've tried the instructions online; they don't work. If I copy the link address and paste it into a different browser, I have no problem at all... I'm at the point where I don't want to use Firefox! Can anyone help me please?

Do those links work if you specify the http:// protocol as such links may require a redirect ?

Sorry, but I have no idea what that means.

You write that you can't open those links in Firefox, so I assume that you open them directly from the email in Firefox. Do you also get this error if you open those links in Firefox via the address bar and specify the http:// protocol if the link has httts:// links ?

Sometimes I am told an https:// site is not available and to go to the http: site; but not on firefox.

Thank you for trying to help me. If it doesn't give me that option, I don't. Am I expected to read minds? Why does this happen and how can I stop it? I also get 404 errors only on Firefox... It wastes a lot of my time copying the link from the address bar and pasting it into a different browser where I have no trouble!
