Hi

Not sure when exactly this started but I guess in last or last 2 updates. I have Legion 5 with Ryzen 7 and Nvidia 1650Ti GPU, installed latest GPU drivers and using Ubuntu 22.04.

So the problem is CPU usage with Firefox. Whatever I do the CPU usage spikes to around 50%, sometimes even more. I tried with Safe mode but it's the same. Task manager just shows the same info I see in System Monitor app, the tab which is active is using a lot of CPU for basic tasks.

I enabled Hardware acceleration and in `about:support` for Compositing section it says `Webrender` so I guess the hardware acceleration is turned on properly, but by looking at the System Monitor app it seems like GPU is not used.

If someone has idea what to try next it would be great, thanks.

You can use mozregression to find when the problem started.

Try using native Wayland by setting the environment variable MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1.
