Unable to delete shortcuts from desktop
I dragged two Folders to my desktop and a bookmarked link from each appeared as a shortcut that I am now unable to remove. Dragging it to my recycle bin or pressing delete does not work and I am unsure as to what I can change in their Properties to fix the issue; changing the names does not work either. Thank you for any assistance.

Did you try to start the computer in Windows Safe Mode with Networking and try to force delete them that way?
Maybe check the Desktop folder directly and try this as administrator.
