Hello, dear Mozilla Team,

I have an issue with this symbol "⠀". It was invisible and usable before an update, but now I can see it and it is very sad and inconvinient. How can I fix this problem?

In the attached pictures you can see examples (1 - safari view (how it should be), 2 - firefox view)

Sorry, but there is no symbol. Are you talking about the blank space between Miss Universe and Miss Russia?

Please provide a public link (no password) that we can check out. No Personal Information Please !

Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Across from fonts and colors, press the Advanced button. On the bottom, turn on Allow Web Sites To Choose Their Own.

Make sure you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the OS settings.

Hello! Thank you for your answer!

It is not my profile, it was just an example that I have found, here is the link: https://www.instagram.com/ms.alinasanko. Yes, I mean the empty space between "Miss Universe and Miss Russia".

When I paste this symbol multiple times "⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀" I see dots (not an empty space) in Mozilla, but not in Chrome or Safari.

I will attach the screenshots to you to show, how it is displayed.

Those characters seem to be part of Unicode Braille code points: "⠀" :&#2800 (Braille space) The other characters seem to confirm this that also look like Braille Patterns (2800-28ff).

Maybe you recently installed a font that supports these code points.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Font tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

Hello! Thank you for your answer!

I have not installed any new fonts, I only updated my Mozilla.

Do you see this symbol as Braille code or as empty space?

The character examples you posted are all &#2800 (forgot above to escape the '&' to &) and this "⠀" character is a space as you might see if you scroll the wikibooks page to the 2800 section, labeled Braille Patterns. I'm not sure why you see this as something like '⠿' (283f) or '⣶' (28f6). It is possible that the font that is used is broken, so you can check what font is used and possibly reinstall it.

Thank you!

To be honest I don't know what to do, because it shows different fonts on different sites (attached screenshots). And also I'm not sure how to properly change the Mozilla font
