Adding AOL app generated password

My Verizon.net e-mail is now handled through AOL. AOL is adding security and I now need to add "a unique app password". In the old days, I could use Tools to access and reset my password. Now, using the on-line help screens, it says go to "Tools, Options, and find stored passwords" but of my four e-mail accounts accessed through TB, passwords for only one show up, and it is not the Verizon p/w. I am at risk of losing access to my Verizon.net emails through TB unless I can add this "unique app password." BTW, I could also delete the account and re-create it because the "new" e-mail will automatically give AOL/Verizon what it needs but that means I will lose all my SENT emails which I am loathe to do.
