If you prefer using DuckDuckGo, please go to Settings -> General: Search

Set DuckDuckGo as your default search engine. You can also turn off Google from the Quick-Search Engines section.

I did both. When i search for something it still comes up in google. I dont have this problem with firefox on pc. Thanks

Aha i just figured out how. I changed my default search engine to duck duck go and turned off google.

Goggle has returned. After selecting duckduckgo as search engine and turning off google one day later google is back when i attempt a search from the URL bar
