Yahoo groups dont load after I login using firefox, but OK on IE11 ??
I can login to Yahoo groups, with Fire fox but then it just drops back to the Yahoo Groups initial screen. If I put in a wrong password, it knows so the login is good. I have cleared all the cookies, site data and history, still same. FF vers is 61.0.1. All works ok in IE11. Using W7 on PC.

Hi Pkshadow Thank you for your reply. Using AVG antivirius 18.5.3059. Using Flash 30.0.134 Using British English Dict vers R1.19. Also I have noticed that I the same problem occurs when I try to login to Talktalk, my ISP for e-mails, I can login ok, but there is no e-mails displayed, but again ok with IE11. Thank you for your interest in my problem.
Hi Pkshadow i forgot to say, but I guess it is taken as true, the same AVG and Flash are available for use by IE11 which does work ok.
Hi, not a problem here to help : AVG/Avast is your issue : 1 of the settings blocks Firefox or intercepts secure connections and sends their own certificate.
Try updating it. Note below might be out of date already. I do know you have to turn something off.
Please see the community forum of the program for a work around.
G' Luck.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi Pkshadow
Thanks for your advice.
AVG 18.5.3059 is the current program version so I cannot update it.
Which setting in AVG do I need to change to stop it blocking Firefox (clearly this does not happen in IE11) and thus allow Firefox to work as it should please.
Hi Pkshadow
Sorry to say your advice has not solved the problem.
i could not find anything relative to the problem in AVG links. There was a Yahoo problem back in April 2018 but this was fixed.
I tried turning off the AVG SSL Scanning, but this did not cure the problem.
So then I turn off AVG protection completely, and the same problem exists.
So, I do not think it is a problem with AVG otherwise it would have started to work ok.
Do you have any other ideas please ?
