Second Disaster on Support Forums -- Will You Recover the Lost Material?
Dear Management: A few days ago there was much more material on my currently active thread in this forum, including some important answers and new questions, that has vanished on this "temporary site." I surely hope you have a way to reconstruct this material because I cannot reproduce even my part of it. (Even if I could, would I post it here, just to have it vanish again?)
The original migration to Lithium did not go well (I suddenly became a "new user," and some of my older threads got severely truncated, among other things), and now we have this new disaster. It doesn't make Mozilla look too good, nor does it serve your users well.

Sorry I think everyone involved thinks the current situation is far from ideal.
With hindsight it probably would have been far better to test the new software properly instead of trying to move everyone and the content to Lithium with the hope that the site could be improved, documented and fixed after the migration.
Unfortunately a critical fix did not work and it was decided it was imperative to move back to the old software before the Firefox 53 Release was made. Unfortunately little advance warning was given.
The good news is that your questions and answers should be safe on Lithium and accessible as soon as we move back to Lithium. At present I see no indication that anyone has tried to propose even an approximate date for this move back. And I do not yet see details of what is being fixed prior to the move back.
Sorry I wish I could give you more information but a lot of us are largely in the dark ourselves. I can refer you to a contributors thread where you should be able to follow progress as this incident unfolds and gets resolved.
