I delete bookmarks or delete Firefox and reinstall but once i log in to my account all the bookmarks come back. How can i prevent this from happening.
I am trying to clean up my bookmarks. I've deleted them completely but once i re-login with my Firefox sync account all bookmarks come back. Is there a cloud file that keeps synching to my local copy?
I've uninstalled and reinstalled ... I then create new booksmarks and tabs in the toolbar. Then i log in and the old return ...

You can try to change the password for the Sync account to reset all data stored on the sync server.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If you use Sync then best is to disconnect Sync (temporarily) while performing maintenance/repair efforts to the places.sqlite database.
