Videos on two websites don't play
I've tried to view videos on cbsnews.com and abcnews.com (nbcnews.com has no problems), but have had no success on either site. On cbsnews.com, I get a request to disable Ad-Block; I do so, but I still get the request. On abcnews.com, the videos won't even load. When I contacted cbsnews.com' technical help, they suggested I switch to Chrome; I can view both sites' videos without any problem, but I'd rather not have to switch browsers just to watch videos. Has anyone else run across this problem, and if so, what solution did you find. Note: one of the posts I read recommended downloading and installing a package from Microsoft; I tried half a dozen times, but could not get the package to download.

Both CBS and ABC use Flash. Is the plugin notification icon appearing on the address bar? If not, some relevant sites might be blocked in NoScript. If you get the icon and Flash is allowed by you do not get the pre-roll ads, the issue might be NoScript, or perhaps HTTPS Everywhere is non-secure elements are involved.

Thanks, jscher2000. I found out by trying to hear a podcast on another site that I needed to update my Flash plug-in; I did so, and the problem was solved.
Again, thanks.
