TBird will receive gmail but will not send emails with TBird wants new password..
I can send and receive gmail online OK. I have a problem now that used to work. When I want to email a link to a page or send an email directly from TBird I get and error message. I tried retyping the gmail password but I get the same error message. I tried following some of the instructions on other pages, but I got all tangled up in all the words and examples not matching what is on my TBird

Thanks Matt. I tried several passwords before but had to go search for the correct one. Finally found it in my written notes and now it's working just fine. Thanks, Bernadine

have you configured two factor authentication on Google (they send you a text usually with a password)
