Thunderbird TORbirdy configuration with email server settings???

When I add my hotmail email account to thunderbird it is working fine i can send and receive emails. When i then proceed to add on Torbirdy it will still work. However, when I try to add a hotmail email account after Torbirdy has been added on to thunderbird it doesn't work properly, i can still send emails but i can not receive messages in my inbox. This is strange because i checked the server settings and everything is correct. When i add my bitmessage email account to thunderbird it is working fine also and i can send and receive emails. When i add on torbirdy it will still work. When i try to add a bitmessage account after Torbirdy has been added on to thunderbird it doesn't work at all, meaning i can't send or receive emails i just get that error SMTP not configured properly or something like that. Does anybody have this same problem or know what might be going on here because i have tried just about everything and nothing is working for me. thanks
