Sending contact via sms, mms
Is it possible to send the contact details from the book to another person via sms or mms (of course, without manually entering a phone number into message)?

Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available natively on Firefox OS.
There is a copy/paste feature planned for version 2.0, which is currently under development, and could possibly be used to copy phone numbers:
Please keep in mind that as Mozilla develops new versions of the system, the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) are solely responsible for deciding on a roadmap to test and release the updates to the commercial devices.
In the meantime, third-party developers may choose to create an app that is able to forward contact details via SMS/MMS.

Copy and paste is important however, I think the OP may be talking about vCard's as well (if it's possible to send and receive vCards on the device).
Ralph, should a bug be opened for that or is there already one on file?
