Cannot log in to forum
Hi there, I cannot log in to the forum using the credentials that I just used here. Forum login, right from first time I tried, said that I had tried to many logins so I need to fill in the captcha . I do that and login info disappears and says I must use captcha. Did it several times with same results. Figured it might be a password problem so I used the forgot password button. Filled in my info and it told me that there was no such email or username. So then I tried to open a new account and it told me that my email address was already in use. I went around in this circle several times with no change or success. Clearing history and cookies did not help. Not sure how I found this page but was able to log in the first time.
I'm hoping someone can help me log into forum. Thanks very much in advance! RC I

What is it you are trying to log into?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Are you sure it was about logging in on support.mozilla.org and not some other site?.
I wonder if you may actually be referring to the independent forums.mozillaZine.org
Thanks so much for all of your replies, folks! I will investigate your responses and try to figure out where I was actually trying to log in. I miss a lot in this life so it could have easily just been me veering off course. Thanks again! RC
