When sending a mail to a list of recipients, is there a way to exclude one of the group members?

I have a friend who send me things that I often like to share with others who are on a distribution list. He is also a member of that group. When I forward what he sent me to the group, I would like to exclude him from receiving that mail. How can I do this without removing him from the group list each time?
