Undesired, Persistent Selection of Images
Just touching an image is enough to select it, and it cannot be reliably unselected without leaving the page. The length of the touch varies for no apparent reason. This is particularly annoying when looking at webcomics, zooming in on the small screen. It also affects reading & scrolling through Wikipedia articles.
Note that selecting text will not unselect the image, and zooming in and moving around is enough to trigger the effect. It has been a problem for at least the past 6 months or more.

Nuking and reinstalling seems to have worked, even if I got Windoze flashbacks. 🙄
Guess I’ll file that under “Inexplicable corruption!”
Thanks again!

Hi David,
This looks totally out of normal and I'm not sure I'm able to replicate the issue on my end (attached is what happen to me when I select an image by tapping it a bit longer in Firefox). Have you tried re-install the app?

I'm glad it works now.
It might help to use Mozilla account so your data will be synced and you won't start from scratch whenever you re-install the app (not that I expect you'll have to do this again).
