Every time Thunderbird upgrades, my Comcast account access breaks complaining of needing a new password. I have tried everything and nothing works - other than to leave everything alone. Then, about 2 days later, it just works again... until another Thunderbird upgrade gets pushed out. Is there any way to prevent this other than to forego future updates?

Hi, all of a sudden this morning, I cannot download my emails on my secondary account. Saved Passwords has the right info and when I re-enter the password via the "login.... failed" message, there is no change. Thanks, Larry

Recently, I added a trial email account to Thunderbird. After I stopped using the service, I removed the account. However, something seems to have gone wrong during the removal process. Now, every time I start Thunderbird, I get a pop-up asking for authentication details for `https://dav.mailbox.org`, with Username and Password fields; the host matches the service I removed.

I can’t find any remnants of the account in Account Settings, but the dialog continues to appear seemingly during calendar update cycles. It’s super intrusive and takes hitting ESC/Cancel several times before it vanishes.

I've tried grepping through my Thunderbird profile directory for the URL (and partial matches) but haven’t found any trace of it. I’d really prefer not to recreate my profile from scratch, as I have multiple accounts configured, with some dating back years.

Is there a manual way to remove this lingering reference to the deleted account?
