Firefox 9 downloaded, but does not install, ask to redownload in less then 1 minute but takes more then 5 minutes to download; still using old version due to low keyboard compatibility, and already suffering from mouse using complications, what to do?
Using FireFox for professional NGO activities, need to download every day already 3x9 html's and 6 graphs, most to be done by repeated mouse movements, often more then 8 movements for just one html. How can this be made more efficient ? Why isn't there a "downloader" just adding the list of daily download file names and receive the files both as html pages on the screen and as downloaded files in my documents or even better in the user defined directories. At this time I am comparing the four different long range weather forecast for use by small scale farmers.
Nice to hear something from you, (just to mark: I am nearly 50 (fifty) years working with computers), Eduard

The Firefox download manager is rudimentary, if you want more features look at an external download manager program with the features you want.
This add-on allows the most popular external download managers to work with Firefox, so that the external program doesn't necessarily have to have Firefox compatibility.
