how can the firefox's start page "search" be directed away from Yahoo to what it originally had, i.e. google

Somehow yahoo started to come back with search results when previously that was handled by Google, which I enjoyed. I do not want Yahoo and have deleted it wherever I can.

Does anyone have any instructions to remedy this, Please!!!
