I can never access the history of any sites I have been to previously. When I open the window that is supposed to show me my history, it's blank. The 'most visited' tab is always empty. How do I solve this?

Check that you still keep history.

To see all the History and Cookie settings, select:

  • Firefox (Tools) > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

This can also be caused by a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I've checked my history and cookie settings, and they are checked to keep my history. it still doesn't work. As for the second link, I absolutely don't understand what is going on.
