I was cleaning my laptop screen and my firefox got disconnected in the process. I would appreciate help with re-establishing the Firefox application. Note: I can open my gmail email accounts, but note NEWSMAX-LIVE

I assume you have a touchscreen. I'm not sure what change might have been made if you were swiping around the toolbars while site was open. Are you getting a specific error message when you try to access the site?
On a separate note, I took a look at the extension list you shared. The one named "Maps Assist & Custom Web Search" has a somewhat bad reputation for overriding your preferred search site (reviews). I don't know whether you've had any problems with searching recently, but you could consider disabling it. See: Review installed extensions.
