A windows update occurred this AM 04/15/26 and it has affected my browsing. Don't know if this update effected my G mail. My U tube profile changed form browsing to history. example: when I click on to my U tube profile it brings up the last view I was browsing. I cannot refresh Firefox like before from the help menu, of which would select the profile I desire.

Firefox browser has stopped opening websites on my Dell laptop. Get "secure connection failed" error message. Other browsers work just fine. I have refreshed, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from both firefox website (using Brave browser) and from MSN store.

when putting in Yahoo.com in Firefox search window, it will open the link but then the page disappears after 2 seconds. I am on Dell Inspiron 15 laptop with Windows 11.

Thank you for your help. I have two questions and concerns. 1. The title bar of Firefox displays "Original Profile". I've been using it as is, as there aren't any particular problems, but it bothers me, so I'm asking if there's a way to hide it. My second question is: 2. In Firefox settings → Search → Search Shortcuts, unnecessary search engines are displayed. Even if I delete them, they reappear when I change the language in the settings. Is this a Firefox specification? Is there any way to prevent them from being displayed again after deleting them?

When I try to look up phone numbers (to see who is calling/texting me), all I get is repetitive results - almost all either googleapis.com or Amazon Web Services (whatever they are). No robokiller, no spokeo, no validnumber - nothing. Not helpful at all.

I face an issue with the browser crashing when in google meeting (meet.google.com). The problem persist in a new profile created with 'firefox.exe -P' and also in the troubleshooting mode. The crash is triggered when I am in the google meeting (with allowed microphone) and I manipulate with windows of the browser - across multiple monitors (switching tabs, moving tabs between windows, closing firefox windows, opening them, "dropping" the tabs onto another applications - chrome, spotify - which opens a new firefox window). Sometime the crash happened once I closed the google meeting tab. Unfortunately it happens "randomly" and I was not able to come with a specific series of steps to reproduce the crash. But it happens always when I am in the meeting and play with the windows for a while.

The crash: Firefox freezes for a few seconds (~3s) and then closes itself - all windows. %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\pending contains a new .dmp file, but it has 0 bytes and no .extra file is created, hence it cannot be submitted via about:crashes. The crash reporter is not opened when firefox crashes. The attached troubleshooting information are from the new clear profile where the crash happens as well.

I normally have 4 windows open, each with multiple tabs, for 4 work streams.

Whenever Firefox or MS decides to do an update, one window sometimes, 4 rarely, none usually, are recovered after restart. How can I ensure that Firefox remembers all the windows and their tabs before shutting down? Then reinstates them after starting up. After the last MS update, the option "Recently closed windows" was greyed out. But there had been 4 of them.

Firefox's recovery after simply rebooting the computer is more, but not completely, reliable. Win11 on a desktop computer

I have just setup a new desktop computer which has the latest versions of Firefox and AVG Free.

Firefox is not working properly, sometimes not completely loading pages, images or is not loading pages at all.

If I disable the AVG Web Shield Setting “Enable QUIC/HTTP3 scanning” then Firefox behaves normally.

The build of AVG Free is 26.3.10886.974 and the version of Firefox is 149.0.2.

Just found that using Iolo System Mechanic to clean up my desktop is constantly causing the loss of my bookmarks and possibly my passwords. I have tried to specify which file(s) to ignore in System Mechanic to avoid this issue, but it is not allowing me to specify the files in my Appdata folders that I suspect it is clobbering. Has anyone been successful with this? I am getting tired of restoring my bookmark files every time I use the program. My wife's computer is having the same issue, and even worse in that she has also had her entire bookmark backup files wiped clean, which required her to re-enter all of her bookmarks manually. The folks at Iolo want me to pay for support before I can get any help from them.

I have a Brother MFC-L2707DW printer. It quit scanning so I deleted the drivers and uploaded current drivers. It now scans and prints EXCEPT from the Firefox browser.

Whit the new things of the profiles or something I just didn't like it so I just delete the thigs that appear in my face, but that deleted all my stuff(hystory, bookmarks, passwords), I supossley had all on my account on mozilla but it's not there, i don't know what to do, I already try the backup or something that appear in the support page but the only profile that is older than the rest doesn't work or is empty, pls I need help

Bonjour, lorsque je veux me connecter à ma boite mail Zimbra de Free un message indiquant "chargement en cours" s'affiche après avoir rentré mon identifiant et mot de passe mais rien ne se passe, la page indiquant se message reste fixe. I have very often issues with Firefox/Captcha. Captcha is not recognized by GFirefox, and the communication with the website using Captcha is blocked. It is very irritating. When it won't be fixed I need to move to another browser

I recently set up an ex-Win10 PC as a Linux media player and was delighted it came with Firefox. I created a separate profile on my Win11 PC for use on the media PC. In this profile I have a few stored bookmarks, log on IDs * passwords, for sites such as BBC iplayer etc.

I did eventually manage to load it on the media PC but when I went back to my Win11 PC I couldn't find my original Firefox account. When I tried to switch accounts, it wanted to load all my original bookmarks etc and combine them in the new profile.

It's now evident that I didn't realise the difference between accounts and profiles (and I'm still somewhat confused). I can't find any clear help on how to switch between accounts and profiles. Why am I finding it so difficult? Perhaps Firefox is being too smart for me.

This does not happen when I use Edge or Chrome so it's Mozilla specific issue. It happens when we use lightning salesforce instance. I've checked with Salesforce Support and they suggested me reaching out to Mozilla support on this. https://www.salesforce.com/
