No support
Firefox and Malwarebytes are not compatible since recent updates. Nobody here seems to be able to help and I am forced to use a different browser to view YouTube videos. I have been in touch with Malwarebytes. I thought the issue was resolved but it not working again. How can a product be developed without anyone who knows what they are doing to provide support?

Since there is no error screenshot of the issue no one can from reading understand what the issue is? What info did you get from malwarebytes saying they are incompatible.
It's simple. Turn of Malwarebytes and there are no issues using YouTube on Firefox. Turn on Mawarebytes and the videos don't load. I've written in Firefox support about this with no solution. I spent over an hour with Malwarebytes on two separate occasions. They made some change to the settings and it worked briefly but now it's back to not working. If you click on a video you get the spinning arrow. This issue doesn't exist in Chrome, Opera, Edge etc.

It is up to Malwarebytes to ensure that its software stays compatible with applications they interact with. Firefox is constantly under development and each version comes with new features and functions and for Firefox there are beta and nightly versions they can use to for issues and prevent their clients from running into issues. This Tuesday Firefox 107 will be released, so if they still have issues with 107 then they are far behind on updating their software. If this is about a Firefox extension then best is to disable their extensions for now.
Try to start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to see if that works.
- Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
- Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox

I think I have been saying Malwarebyte when I should have been saying Webroot. Sorry about that. Have tried troubleshoot mode before. All the other browsers work fine. I'm just going to have to change browsers. Tired of dealing with this.

Being on youtube, click the lock icon in the address bar, then click Connection secure. Does it say "Verified by: Google"?
Some other recent threads about Webroot having issues with playing videos.

- /questions/1396122 YouTube videos don't work with Firefox
It does say "Verified by: Google".
