Firefox Browser Seach Bar messed up, missing random letters
Ever since I updated my firefox version the search bar will be missing random letters when I type them, or the suggestions will be missing letters. However this is only a visual bug, since pressing enter will search for what I typed. I've restarted and reinstalled but its still like this. Just wondering if anyone has a fix. See attached images.

See whether it happens when you use safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode A possible culprit is the setting for hardware acceleration.
Starting in safe mode removed the issue. So I should remove hardware acceleration?
Other possible causes are userChrome.css in case you use this file.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
