I have downloaded the latest Thunderbird because my original Thunderbird had Email Sending Faults. I had to "Send" then the email came back to my Inbox. From there I had to "Forward" that same email to the addressee. I have also had more recent trouble, where Thunderbird wouldn't recognise my Password when I tried to open the program.
