
can not transmit my emails need to change 'outgoing mail server settings'
Hello, i just recently upgraded from dial up service with ATT to 24 megs, my ISP is LANSET I can received emails from them but unable to xmit. They said to contact ATT, which I did, but since I have THUNDERBIRD to get my emails I have to contact you all. Per LANSET they said i need to have my 'OUTGOING MAIL SERVER SETTING' changed so that i can forward my emails that i received from LANSET. Everything was working great until time I upgraded my line from telephone line (dial up) to 24 meg direct line. Thank you Paul Caruso

Right click the account in the Folder Pane on the left side Select Settings. Scroll to the bottom and click Outgoing Server (SMTP) Make your changes.
everything worked up to part that said 'make your changes' what changes am i supposed to make???
Ask your email provider. They configure their servers.
