Why In the past when I allowed your upgrades did I get a lot viruses on your browser and not others?
Every time I made a move on Mozilla I was constantly hit with pop up ads and It cost me money to have them removed.

hello tcox9, no genuine updates from mozilla will contain any malicious software of that sorts. that rather sounds like an issue with adware already present and active on your pc or fake popups on websites that would trick you into running malicious software.
please perform all these steps:
- go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc).
- also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.
- finally, run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner, which are specialised in adware and browser hijackers.
Where and how did you do Firefox upgrade?
A update in Firefox itself from Mozilla would certainly not come with viruses or ads. A download from mozilla.org has always been clean so far.
Was this a update on a website? as Mozilla does not serve updates by way of a random site especially by way of .exe
Some people take programs and create their own installers. While they may install the program you want, there may be no telling what else is being installed. Download only from trusted sites.
