shall ? I do and it seems they each recognise the email address :) as do other Mozzila entities

Firefox is the name of web browser and not an account like Mozilla Account is. Mozilla Accounts used to be called Firefox Accounts up till November 1, 2023 when it was renamed to Mozilla Account to reflect that the account was no longer just used for Firefox sync feature.
